LaurenBleaves has always had a love for natural world. From a young age she developed a keen interest in and passion for plants, flowers, and in particular leaves.  Growing up in the North East, where the four seasons are often so clearly experienced, she developed a spirit of wanting to preserve each beautiful and unique season throughout the year.

While in college Lauren would go to the library with the good intention of studying, but instead often found herself being drawn outside to the maple trees, gathering their leaves to laminate and give away as book marks.  This craft turned into a passion which eventually grew to include pressed flowers which she also laminated as gifts for friends.  Post college and celebrating their first Christmas together in 2012, Lauren’s now husband gifted her a laminating machine of her own, which she promptly broke by attempting to laminate a sunflower. Six years later, he re-purchased the laminator as a gift on their wedding day.  Rekindling her passion with a desire to preserve her wedding flowers and the memories they held, Lauren thought of the idea to press them but this time display using frames and glass.  The more she kept experimenting, the more her creativity blossomed. Her love of conserving those magical experiences became interwoven with her passion for preserving the beauty of nature. A natural piece of art that is in essence a time capsule of a cherished moment in time.

Everything is completely unique and handmade by LaurenB.  Her heart and soul is in every piece and as in nature, no two things are exactly alike.
